Cass Carillo

Hi, I’m Cass!

In my spare time, you’ll find me organizing my Pinterest boards, stressing over the littlest things, or making Spotify playlists based on a single song.
Design has always been my way of self-expression and storytelling. Over the past year, I’ve drawn to packaging design, UX/UI, branding, typography, and motion graphics. Each project I work on gives me the chance to share a piece of my identity and tell a meaningful story.

My design style is fun, bold, and colourful, but I also enjoy diving deep into research and solving problems with thoughtful solutions. What excites me about graphic design is how the industry is constantly evolving, keeping me on my toes to find new ways to address issues and design trends. I’m excited to grow as a designer, collaborate with like-minded professionals, and support Winnipeg’s Asian design scene.

Oda Best

that serves Filipino-inspired fusion food through catering, festivals, and community events. The name is a playful nod to the mother’s name, Oda,  – “Oh da Best!”, and the brand is known for creative dishes like Filipino-style birria tacos and taho.

I revisited this project as I advanced through the graphic design program, intending to resolve earlier design issues and take full creative control. This updated version reflects my growth as a designer, a clearer design voice, and a stronger focus on thoughtful branding.
